The Teletext screen has 23 lines of 39 characters. For the purpose of graphics, each character is split into six pixels.
A design code is required to define each of the following:
Colour - background
Colour - text
Colour - graphic
Single/Double height
Flashing
Each code takes up one character space
Background/Text/Graphics - 8 colours available as above
Black can only be used for background and graphic writing
