The Teletext service is a free service operated by MediaCorp Pte Ltd.
We were the first in Asia to introduce the teletext service on Channel 5 in August 1983. It was started as a public service, offering news reports, stock information and some ministry announcements.
Through the years, we have expanded our services and content into three MediaCorp TV channels - Channel 5, Channel NewsAsia and Channel 8.
Channel NewsAsia is our Business & Community hub.
It contains financial information such as share prices, unit trusts and currency rates; news and sports; flight information; career listings; COE & ERP rates; and ministry & town council listings. |

Channel 5 is an Entertainment and Lifestyle channel.
It displays Health & Entertainment News, Technology & other News, Sports, TV/Radio Listings and Lottery Results. |

Channel 8 makes Classified Advertisements work for you.
Categories include Property, Travel, Education, Home & Biz Needs, Services and Vehicles. |
The Teletext website, first launched in 1999, contained screen captures of pages from Channels 5 and 8. In March 2002, we redesigned the site to include Channel NewsAsia.
Today, Teletext continues to expand, offering viewers and surfers classified listings. |
